Day 1: ISTANBUL - BODRUM  

Early morning transfer to airport for flight to Bodrum. Arriving to Bodrum, begin your day of sightseeing.

Visit the city, formerly called Halicarnassus.

We start up the hill that separates Gumbet from Bodrum to visit the famous Bodrum Windmills, made of stone and lined with wooden planks that were used from the 18th century until the 70's to grind flour for the local population. Enjoy the panoramic view, aside you have a breathtaking view of Bodrum, on the other hand a glorious view of Gumbet .

We go down to visit the Mausoleum: Persian king Mausolus, married his sister Artemisia. Both were very pretentious. At his death, Artemisia, ordered the construction of a monument to her husband-brother that overshadow all others. And she did. So great was the mausoleum that was among the Seven Wonders of the World, and out came the name of funeral monuments that are still used today.

Continue to the medieval Castle of ST peter which has inside the Archaeology Museum of Underwater. Hundreds of artifacts from Bodrum´s  sponge collectors divers, tools and goods shipwrecks 32 centuries (from XVI century BC to the sixteenth century AD The views from the castle are excellent.

We end the visit with the Greco-Roman Theatre, located in the upper part of town, very typical in ancient times, when the show was boring at least the view would distract.

Overnight in Bodrum

Day 2: BODRUM (B, D)

After breakfast, you will meet your guide in the lobby of the hotel to start your full day of sailing in gulet. Transfer to the pier to embark on this adventure in a typical in the region wooden sailboat.

Enjoy the crystal clear water and swim in secret coves. A sumptuous lunch will be served on board, accompanied by local wines and cold drinks. At the end of the experience, return to your hotel.

We suggest dinner at one of the lovely local seafood restaurants near the marina.

Overnight in Bodrum

Day 3: BODRUM - ISTANBUL (D)

After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival in Istanbul, transfer to your hotel, port, airport to connect with your international flight.
